9/1/26 - Congress Passes Continuing Resolution
Congress has passed a Continuing Resolution through December 11th, so the government will keep operating after September 30th. You should not see any dramatic change in processing of applications and loans. For subsidized, there can sometimes be a delay in OMB pushing funding (due to the need to pro-rate it), but we are hopeful we won’t see that.9/1/26 - HUD Issues Response to MBA on Migratory Bird Treaty Act
The MBA received the response below from HUD regarding the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) letter that was sent on August 13th. HUD's response agreed with the opinion of the MBA letter that an “incidental take” of migratory birds should not be considered prohibited under the MBTA.
